Milimatatu Girls’ Secondary School is a public boarding school for girls located in the rural Milimatatu region of Turkana County, Kenya. Founded in 2016 to serve girls from financially challenged families, the school draws students from Lokitaung, the lake zones, and surrounding areas. It is a hub for academic growth, moral development, and community empowerment, preparing students to become responsible, God-fearing citizens.

Angaza Center Partnership

Through its partnership with Angaza Center, Milimatatu Girls’ Secondary School aims to establish a technology resource center that will equip students with essential digital skills for both academic and life success. In a region with limited digital access, the school’s commitment to ICT training extends beyond its students to the wider community. While the school has a secure ICT room, the lack of electricity and ICT devices presents a key challenge. Angaza’s support will help bridge the digital divide, promote informed decision-making, and connect Turkana’s learners to the global knowledge economy.
