Groupe Scolaire Marie Reine Rwaza is a Catholic, co-educational boarding secondary school located in the Rwaza sector of Musanze District, Northern Province, Rwanda. Established in 1986 and now managed by the Ruhengeri Catholic Diocese, the school upholds the motto “Discipline – Knowledge – Holiness.” It serves approximately 800 students, offering Ordinary Level education as well as Advanced Level combinations in Mathematics-Chemistry-Biology (MCB), Mathematics-Economics-Geography (MEG), and Accounting. Supported by a committed team of full-time graduate teachers, Groupe Scolaire Marie Reine Rwaza continues to prepare students for success in higher education and life. Its well-equipped campus includes classrooms, science and computer laboratories, a library, sports facilities, and boarding accommodations.

Angaza Center Partnership

The partnership between Groupe Scolaire Marie Reine Rwaza and the Angaza Center aims to integrate digital literacy into the school’s teaching and learning processes. By leveraging ICT, the school seeks to enhance lesson delivery, promote interactive learning, and equip students with skills essential for the modern workforce.

The school already has a secure smart classroom that can accommodate up to 50 learners, partially equipped with electricity, and looks forward to expanding its ICT capacity. Through Angaza Center membership, Groupe Scolaire Marie Reine Rwaza envisions accessing training programs for teachers and students, improving ICT infrastructure, and fostering collaboration with other institutions.
