Kuja Special School for Hearing Impaired Joins the Journey
We were excited to visit Kuja Special School for Hearing Impaired after they became the first special school to express interest in joining the Angaza Center family! ❤️
During the physical assessment, the school board and administration demonstrated incredible enthusiasm, commitment, and eagerness to embrace the Angaza Center Digital Literacy Program. We are inspired by their passion to create inclusive digital learning opportunities for their learners. 🌍✨
⚡ Kwa Mixed Senior School Ready for Launch
The Angaza team successfully conducted both online and physical assessments at Kwa Mixed Senior School. The school leadership showed great excitement and readiness to implement the program.
Even more exciting, the ICT room, electricity, and internet connectivity are already in place! 🚀 This means the school is fully preparing for teachers’ training and the official launch of the digital literacy program. 👏
💡 USIU Scholars Innovation Showcase
Innovation was in the air as the USIU Mastercard Scholars hosted an exciting Innovation Showcase event! 🎓✨
Industry partners present included Angaza Center, USIU Africa, EldoHub, and Yazure Africa. Six outstanding projects were presented by scholars, showcasing creativity and problem-solving through technology.🥇 The winning project, iLearnZed, impressed everyone with its mission of connecting students with local teachers through technology a vision that strongly aligns with Angaza Center’s mission of promoting teaching and learning through digital innovation.
👩🏫 Kuja Teachers Training Kicks Off
Another major milestone! 🎊
Teachers’ training officially kicked off at Kuja Special School for Hearing Impaired on May 25th and will run for five days ahead of the program launch.
During the training, teachers are introduced to the Angaza Center Digital Literacy Program and equipped with practical ways to integrate technology into teaching and learning. We are excited to see the positive transformation this will bring to the school community. 💻📖
